BRODNICA
Province: Kujawy i Pomorze
County: Brodnica
Origin/meaning
The hand has been the symbol and the arms of the town as long as known. All seals of the city show the hand, either alone or in a shield. The oldest seal dates from the end of the 14th century, and the arms thus haven't changed since.
Only in the late the 20th century the old colours were changed into the Polish colours silver and red.
