В золотом поле летящий одноглавый червленый орел с серебряными лапами и клювом, держащий в когтях лук тетивою вниз и стрелу с серебряным оперением и наконечником. Направление полета орла слева направо. В нижней трети щита на почетном месте размещен геральдический щит герба города Читы, обрамленный алой Александровской лентой.
