Official blason

D'argent à l'écusson d'azur au lion naissant d'or; ledit écusson accompagné de trois grappes de raisin de sinople, 2 et 1, et de trois boutons de couturières d'or, percés de quatre trous de sable, 1 et 2.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1997.

The arms show as an inescutcheon the arms of the De Vendeuil family, former lords of the village. The grapes indicate the importance of viticulture and the buttons refer to the traditional handicraft of making buttons in the village.
