Argent, a saltire gules between a fountain proper in the center chief point, and three mitre of the second, garnished or.

Origin/meaning

The Three Mitres represent the Three Dioceses of which Rochester fromerly was a part namely London, New York and Western New York. The Fountain symbolises the Genesee River wich flows the length of the Diocese from South to North. The Red Saltire is form the Arms of the English Diocese of Rochester.
