Selected collector's items from Germany:

EDIGHEIM

State : Rheinland-Pfalz
Urban district (Stadtkreis) : Ludwigshafen
Incorporated into : 1929 Oppau (1938 Ludwigshafen)

Wappen von Edigheim

Official blazon

(de)

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on July 27, 1841.

The arms are based on the oldest seal of the village, dating from 1661. The symbol itself is probably derived from the old arms of the city of Frankenthal, which showed a triangle or diamond.
