Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on May 7, 1984.

The wavy bend symbolises the Sipbach river in the municipality. The wheel symbolises the fact that many inhabitants work in the industries in Linz. The wheat ear refers to the traditional agricultural character of the municipality.
