The Fortress symbolises technical work in the terrain, the later symbolised by the waves. The Cross of Burgundy indicates the General Reserve of which the Command forms part. The Purpure is the colour of the Engineers of the Spanish Army. The Coat of Arms was approved 8 November 1988.

Origin/meaning

The Fortress symbolises technical work in the terrain, the later symbolised by the waves. The Cross of Burgundy indicates the General Reserve of which the Command forms part. The Purpure is the colour of the Engineers of the Spanish Army. The Coat of Arms was approved 8 November 1988.
