ENGINEER REGIMENT NO 8, SPANISH ARMY

En campo de azur (azul), hacha y zapapico de oro pasante en aspa, resaltados de pala de oro puesta en palo, a su vez, resaltados de torreón de oro perfilado de sable. Acompañados en jefe por dos calderas puestas en faja, jaquelados de gules (rojo) y oro, de cinco y tres órdenes, de cuyo interior salen siete sierpes de sinople (verde), tres hacia la diestra y cuatro hacia la siniestra.
Origin/meaning
The Cauldrons from the Arms of the city of Melilla, symbolises the location of the Regiment. The Tower, Axes, and Spade symbolises the Engineering role. The Coat of Arms was approved on 6 May 2004.
