Färila kommunvapen

Official blason

I blått fält en medelst vågskura, med blå linblomma belagd stam av silver samt däröver en hästsko av guld omslutande en gran av silver.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 21, 1958.

The horseshoe refers to the agricultural character and the former importance of horses for transport and communication. The pine tree refers to forestry, the wavy base to the Ljusnan river. The flower is a flax flower and refers to flax cultivation and linen manufacture.
