HMS ARGONAUT, ROYAL NAVY

English Red; on water in base barry wavy of eight white and blue a lymphad therein a Greek demi-warrior armoured gold vested white with helmeted gold crested blue holding in the dexter hand aloft by a sling blue a flecce gold in the sinister hand a circular shield also gold.

Motto: Audax omnia perpeti

Origin/meaning

The Crew of Argo which under Jason went to seek the Golden Flecce. The Latin motto translates "Ready to dare all". The badge was approved on 28 May 1942.
