English White; within a chaplet of seven roses red barbed seeded slipped and leaved proper a martlet gold.

Origin/meaning

A 11th Century Castle in Northumberland. Combines Arms of de Merly (martlet) and Greystock (chaplet). The badge was approved in 1953.
