Origin/meaning

The Abortive World War I landing of Austalian, New Zealand and British Forces at Gallipoli Peninsula in August 1915. The Naval Forces was under the Command of Vice Admiral Sir John de Robeck, Bt. whose Arms show a Sea Bear. The badge was approved on 6 May 1948.
