HELICOPTER TRAINING SQUADRON 8 (HT-8) EIGHTBALLERS, US NAVY

History: Formed as HTU-1 on 3 December 1950. Redesignated as HTG-1 in March 1957 and as HT-8 on 1 July 1960.
Base: NAS Whiting Field, Milton, Florida.
