HELICOPTER WING, SWEDISH AIR FORCE
Raised : 1998 when the Helicopter units of the Air Force, Navy and the Army was brougth together under a unified command.
Wing HQ : Linköping-Malmslätt
Official blazon
I blått fält en bevingad häst av guld. Skölden lagd över ett stolpvis ställt svärd.
(Azure a Pegasus salient or. The Shield surmounting an erected sword of the last colour)
Origin/meaning
The Pegasus symbolises the different Helicopters used by the Wing. The Coat of Arms was approved in 2001.
