===Origin/meaning===
The lion is emblematic of Flanders while the horn refers to a ram, the armiger's totem. The ermine is chosen to remind of Brittany, a region important to the armiger. The ermines (7) stand for the seven branch of the menorah as a symbol of Judaic faith. The colour blue is a symbol of knowledge. The double-faced sphinx is a mix between the sphynx of Thebes and the roman god Janus to represent knowledge of time and logic.
The tinctures of the arms are taken from those of Flanders ancien.

The field is Azure to symbolise the colour of the violet, the armiger's favourite flower. The Horns are an allusion to the armiger's nickname "Vlaanderram" as well as the ram that replaced Isaac during his Binding (Genesis 22:13).

The bend counter-compony is a reference to the armiger’s passion for martial strategy as well as an allusion to Samson's riddle (Judges 14:14) the gules representing the blood of the lion and the or the honey of the bees.

The Phrygian cap represents the armiger's passion for history as well as their French nationality. the Phrygian cap and the Wreath of laurels represent the enslavement, liberation, glory and fall. this pattern is thought by the armiger to be the destiny of all people and of all peoples and act as a herald for the armiger while alluding to their personal experience.

Origin/meaning
