English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 30, 1995.

The wavy division line symbolises the Bilsbek river. The acorn and the wheat ear symbolise the importance of agriculture and tree nurseries for the local economy. The stone is a kind of canting element, as the name can be translated as a poor stony field, and thus as a very poor agricultural region. The wolf symbolises the fact that due to the Thirty Year's War, the local population neglected the field, which gave rise to an increase in the wolf population. This increase even forced the villagers to resettle the village. The colours of the arms are taken from the State arms.
