English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 16, 1951.

The arms show a 'vase' the arms of King Gustav Vasa in a silver bar. It refers to an incident in 1521 when the king, while crossing the Hågaån river, was nearly captured. He managed to escape. The silver bar thus represents the river, the vase the king.
