Origin/meaning
These arms have been officially granted on 29th January 2001.
La Pobla de Mafumet is represented traditionally by an Agnus Dei, or Paschal lamb, symbolizing St. John the Baptist, the local patron saint. The element below is a hackberry tree, "lledoner" in Catalan, because the main festivity of the village (every 2nd February) is dedicated to the Mare de Déu del Lledó (the Virgin of the Hackberry).
