Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 10, 1949.
The arms show two wheatears rising from three small hills in the base of the shield, and in between a pine cone.
The three hills symbolise the Reutterberg, the Beilberg and the Teinacher Berg near the village. The wheatears symbolise the agricultural character of the village. The pine cone symbolises the (pine) forests in the area.
The village never used seals or arms until 1938, when a seal was designed. The seal showed the local war memorial from the First World War.
