LINDENA

State : Brandenburg
District (Kreis) : Elbe-Elster
Amt : Amt Elsterland
Incorporated into : 1998 Schönborn (Niederlausitz)

Wappen von Lindena/Arms (crest) of Lindena
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms are loosely based on the seal known from 1803, which showed two linden trees and a stork in a nest. The two linden leaves are canting and also refer to the well known linden-flower festival in the village. The meaning of the stork is not known.
