The arms were granted in. 1924.

The arms incorporate the Red Cross of London, lions of York, Edinburgh Castle, roses, thistles and 2 London griffins.

Supporters: two lions with collars of roses and thistles respectively.

Crest: Mercury running through clouds of steam and Motto FORWARD.
