Official blazon

Sköld genom en tinnskura delad av rött, vari tre pikar av guld med spetsar av silver uppskjuta, och av silver.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 10, 1957.

The arms show three arrows behind a wall, symbolising the former fortifications of the village, as well as the battles with the Norwegians/Danes in the 15th and 16th century.
