Administrative division

Mozambique is divided into ten provinces and one capital city (Maputo) with provincial status. The provinces are subdivided into 129 districts. The districts are further divided in 405 "Postos Administrativos" (Administrative Posts) and then into Localidades (Localities).

As far as I know none of these uses heraldic arms, although a number of towns and villages used arms in colonial times (until 1975), these are listed below:
