Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 30, 1947. The Axe and Plough are from the Seal of the Yttre Gälden Juridical Circuit. They also symbolises the Forestry and Agriculture
of the Area. the Wavy Fess symbolises the River Dalälven.
