District (Kreis) : Main-Spessart (until 1973 Lohr am Main)

Wappen von Neuhütten (Unterfranken)/Arms (crest) of Neuhütten (Unterfranken)
Official blazon
German

In Rot über einem sechsspeichigen silbernen Rad nebeneinander drei silberne Kristalle.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 2, 1976.

The village developed as a village of glassblowers in the 15th century and was one of the four main centres of glass production in the State of Mainz in late medieval times. This is symbolises by the quartz crystals in the upper half.

The colours and the wheel are taken from the arms of the State of Mainz to which the village belonged until 1803.
