Selected collector's items from Germany:

NEUKIRCHEN-VLUYN

State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Wesel (until 1974 Moers)
Additions : 1928 Neukirchen, Vluyn

Wappen von Neukirchen-Vluyn

Official blazon

(de) In Schwarz drei goldene schräglinke Wellenbalken.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on November 23, 1961.

The three waves represent three old river beds of the Rhine, which in the local dialect are called Vluynen. The colours are the colours of the counts of Moers, who owned Vluyn from the early Middle Ages.
