History: Formed at Langley in May 1941.

English In front of a torch and flash of lightning in alstire an Astral crown.

Motto: Scire suadere sequi

Origin/meaning

The Group is involved in training as indicated by the torch in radar and signalling as symbolised by the Lightning. The Astral Crown symbolises success in everything connected with Aviation. The Motto translates as ”Too know, to advice, to follow”. The Badge was approved in August 1947.
