History: First formed in 1933 at Royal Naval Air station Gosport (HMS Siskin), Hampshire as a Spotter-Reconnaissance Squadron serving with HMs Courageous unitl 1938. Served at Detling Airfield, Kent 1941-1943. Reformed in 1944 at Royal Navla Air station Stretton (HMS Blackcap) with Barracudas. Disbanded in 1946 and reformed 1951-1953 for the Korean War and disbanded in Hong kong 1953. Gained four Battle Honours.

NO 821 SQUADRON, FAA

History: First formed in 1933 at Royal Naval Air station Gosport (HMS Siskin), Hampshire as a Spotter-Reconnaissance Squadron serving with HMs Courageous unitl 1938. Served at Detling Airfield, Kent 1941-1943. Reformed in 1944 at Royal Navla Air station Stretton (HMS Blackcap) with Barracudas.
