COUNTY NORTH TIPPERARRY (Tipperary - North Riding)

Created in 1898 from and re-incorporated in 2014 into County Tipperary

Origin/meaning

The council has adopted the arms granted to County Tipperary in the 17th century. This has an ermine shield with a fess of the arms of Butler, Earls of Ormonde.
