Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on December 3, 1984.

The chief shows the arms of the Sinzendorf family, who ruled the village for a long time as vassals for the Kremsmünster Convent. The hazelnut and the wavy bar are canting elements. Literature : Baumert, H.E. : Oberösterreichische Gemeindewappen, Linz, 1996.
