Origin/meaning
The crosier symbolises the Lorsch Abbey, to which the territory historically belonged, it was first mentioned as a possession in 1012. The base shows a canting Steinbach (stone-river). The stones also symbolise the Hardberg hill in the village, the highest point in the area.
