PARISH OF KASEJOVICE

Diocese: České Budějovice
Vicariate: Sušice-Nepomuk
Denomination : Roman Catholic

Arms of Parish of Kasejovice

Official blazon

Ve štítu červený kůl a v něm zlatá poutnická hůl zakončená křížem. V bočních polích stříbrná kvádrovaná hradba s cimbuřím a nad ní vždy po jedné stříbrné lastuře obrácené zámkem dolů. Štít převyšuje černý kněžský klobouk.

Origin/meaning

The blue background and the silver wall are derived from the arms of Kasejovice. The pilgrim's staff and scallop represent the parish church's patron St. Jacob. Specifically the staff is emblazoned as a copy of the staff held by the saint in the image above the church altar.
