Por debajo del jinete se encuentra el nombre de la ciudad en alfabeto celtiberico sobre una línea, todo en gules. Al timbre corona real de España
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 22, 2009.
The tower is the castle of Castille, which also appeared on the 19th century seal of the village. The knight is taken from a Celtic coin, found in the area, indicating a long inhabitation. The letters are the name of the village in Celtic alphabet.
