In front of two shepherds crooks Or turned invards and in saltire a sword argent hilted Or erect between two flashes of lightning gules fesswise.
Motto: Protect.

Origin/meaning

The Shepherds' Crooks alludes to the Air Traffic Control role of the Station. The Sword symbolises the Air Defence Role. The Lightnings is indicative of the importance of electronics in modern Communications. The badge was granted in November 1972.
