RANGENDINGEN
State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Zollernalbkreis
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 9, 1970.
The bear is the symbol of the local patron saint, St. Gallus. The linden leaves symbolises the medieval Lords of Rangendingen, of the Lindach family. The branch is red, a colour derived from the arms of the Hohenberg Estate, to which the village belonged for many centuries. The golden shield symbolises agriculture.
