Origin/meaning
The Dagger symbolises the oldest traditions of the Brigade Area. An ancient Dagger was found during Archeological diggings in the Area. Green is the main colour of the Colour of Rogaland Infantry Regiment No 8. The District and the Regiment are now disbanded.
