  • (de) Geviert von Rot und Blau; in 1 ein goldenes Dreieck belegt mit einer auffliegenden silbernen Taube; in 4 eine goldenbebutzte silberne Rose mit goldenen Kelchblättern; über die Vierung schräglinks gelegt ein silberner Spaten, das Blatt in Feld 3, dessen Stiel im Feld 2 in einem Kreuz endet.

Origin/meaning

The spade is a canting element, the name means 'digger', but has a cross ending to indicate the status as a bishop. The dove and the blue colurs refer to the Holy Spirit. The rose refers to St. Mary.
