Origin/meaning

These arms have been officially granted on 25th March 1994.

The arms show the former pond of Sils, drained off in mid 19^th century, and the canting arms of Cabrera (with the goat, "cabra" in Catalan), because the village belonged to Riudarenes council, in the viscounty of Cabrera.
