VFA-11 RED RIPPERS, US NAVY

History: Established as VF-43 (fighter Squadron, fourth use of the desigination) on 1 September 1950, becoming VF-11 (third use of the designation) on 16 February 1959 and VFA-11 on 18 October 2005.

Homeport: NAS Oceana, Virginia.
