VFA-22 FIGHTING REDCOCKS, US NAVY
History: Established as VF-63 on 28 July 1948, becoming VA-63 (Attack Squadron) in March 1956 and VA-22 on 1 July 1959. The Present designation was given on 4 May 1990.
Homeport: NAS Lemoore, California.
