Arms : Azure, Apollo, the inventor of Physic, proper, his head radiant, holding in his left hand a bow and in his right hand an arrow Or, supplanting a serpent argent.
Crest: On a wreath Or and azure, A rhinoceros statant proper. Mantled gules, doubled argent.
Supporters: On either side a unicor:t Or, armed and unguled argent.
Motto: Opiferque per orbem dicor.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 12, 1617.
