Arms of Ulster Bank

Official blazon

Arms: Gules, on a cross argent cottised Or a dexter hand of the field couped at the wrist.
Crest: Out of an ancient Irish crown Or a spear erect Argent [the inside of the hand guard] garnished gold, a bell fastened thereto by a chain also gold.
Supporters: On either side an Irish Wolfhound proper, collared chequy argent and gules, chained Or, the chain passing through the mouth and reflexed behind the head gold.


The arms were officially granted on November 20, 1957.
