The Truck Wheels thogether with the straight stripes symbolises Road Transport. The conjoined stripes symbolises location in Evansville, Indiana, alluding to the State Motto of Indiana "The Crossroads of America".


 
The coat of Arms was approved on 2 February 1998 and the distinctive Unit Insignia on 24 July 1972.
