These arms have been officially granted on 12th February 1991.

The arms show a millstone and a laurel wreath with a palm, the attributes of the martyrdom of St. Feliu (or Felix), the local patron saint. Felix was a 4<sup>th</sup> century martyr that was thrown to the sea with a millstone tied to his neck. The mount of rocks is a canting sign, "codines" meaning literally in Catalan "rocks".
