===Origin/meaning===
The arms were designed in the 1950s and combine the cross of the [[Diocese of Konstanz]] with the stars from the arms of the Brünsi family. Andhausen belonged until the late 17th century to the Lordship of Berg, which was a possession of the Bishops of Konstanz, who appointed the local Vogt (sheriff, governor). For a long time these were from the Brünsi family, hence the choice for the stars.
