Coat of Arms:Ultramarine blue is the primary color associated with aviation and is symbolic of the sky. Additionally, the silver wings allude to combat readiness and also simulate the numeral "11," the designation of the unit. Crest:Yellow, green and red recall the United States Army Vietnam Campaign streamer and combat service in that country. The bamboo is reminiscent of the United States Army Vietnam Campaign Medal. The unit received five Vietnam Crosses of Gallantry. The swords are adapted from that award and are crossed to represent strength in military preparedness. The arrowheads symbolize battle action and denote the Valorous Unit Award and the Meritorious Unit Commendation.
