The arms refers to Adutiškis being the most eastern (in northern half of Lithuania) stronghold of Lithuanian identity in times of Polish regime (1920-1939) and reminds the Lithuanian custom of the Vilnius county: performing protest actions mounted and with banners or bands of national colours. In particular, people of Adutiškiswere repressed by Polish police in 1930 and in 1936 due to such actions. | |||
