Curiously there exists an entry in the so-called Kopialbuch of the Pfalz from 1559-1576 that Gochsheim received arms on May 31, 1568 from the Prince of the Pfalz, Frederick III. The arms supposedly showed a golden eagle in black in the upper half and a golden wall in red in the lower half. It also states that the arms were supposed to be used on the seals from then on. However, no paper grant or image exists and the arms were not used on the seals. | |||
