The Warriors head symbolises the Belgian's fierce resistance to Invaders since the time of Julius Caesar. The Motto which translates as "The Belgae bravest of the Gauls", was the words of Julius Caesar relating to these fights. The Badge was granted in March 1945 and are still used by the 350th Squadron of the Belgian Air Force.
