Escudo de ouro, faixa de negro lavrada de prata, como pano de muralha, entre trompa de caça de púrpura, cordoada de negro, embocada e virolada de prata, em chefe e monte de três cômoros de verde, movente da ponta. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: " CARREIRAS – PORTALEGRE ".
